Phoebe Tollefson joined the MTFP Local team to cover Billings in 2026. She has worked at The Sheridan Press and The Billings Gazette, where she spent years reporting on criminal justice, courts and other local policy issues. Her work has appeared in McClatchy Newspapers and the Chicago Sun-Times. Phoebe is a graduate of the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. She lives in her hometown of Billings.
