Ashley Koning 
Director & Assistant Research Professor

Ashley Koning is the director of the Eagleton Center for Public Interest Polling (ECPIP), the oldest statewide university-based survey research center in the country. She is the face of the Rutgers-Eagleton Poll, oversees all client projects, and manages a staff of undergraduate and graduate students to assist with day-to-day polling operations and studies.

Debra Borie-Holtz
Senior Survey Scholar in Residence & Assistant Teaching Professor

Debra Borie-Holtz is responsible for coordinating survey research projects for ECPIP’s outside clients including non-profits, government and academic organizations. She is on the faculty at the Bloustein School for Planning and Public Policy at and is a senior research analyst at the Education and Employment Research Center (School of Management and Labor Relations).

Jessica Roman
Director of Data Management and Analysis

Jessica L. Roman is the director of data management and analysis at the Eagleton Center for Public Interest Polling (ECPIP), where she works on the research, design, and data analysis for statewide polling and client projects; drafts project publications, including press releases and full-scale reports; and supervises undergraduate and graduate interns.

David Martin
Research Assistant

David Martin is a PhD candidate in political science studying monetary policy and public opinion at Rutgers University. He is a part time lecturer in the political science department at Rutgers, and he also works as a research assistant at the Eagleton Center for Public Interest Polling, specializing in data visualization.

Kyle Morgan
Research Associate 

Kyle Morgan is a Research Associate at the Eagleton Center for Public Opinion Polling and an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Francis Marion University. He is involved with the research, design, fielding, and analysis of surveys for the Rutgers-Eagleton Poll and clients of the Center.

Amy Funck
Research Assistant

Amy Funck is a Research Assistant for the Eagleton Center for Public Opinion Polling and an Adjunct Professor at the Eagleton Institute of Politics. She helps to design surveys and analyze data for internal and client projects; contributes to the center’s journal publications; and manages our undergraduate program which trains students in all aspects of public opinion polling from project design to social media engagement.
