Montana is heading up a coalition of states looking to intervene in the Lighthiser v. Trump climate lawsuit challenging a series of executive orders President Donald Trump issued to “unleash” American energy. A hearing on the lawsuit is set for Sept. 16-17, 2025, in federal court.
